Los Poblanos Historic Inn & Organic Farm

CONDE NAST TRAVELER'S #5 HOTEL IN THE WEST AND SOUTHWEST US | 2021

Just 50 minutes outside Albuquerque’s city limits, Los Poblanos is the inclusive reprieve we all need. Designed in 1932 by New Mexico's foremost architect, John Gaw Meem, the "Father of Santa Fe Style", Los Poblanos is located on an organic farm in the heart of the Rio Grande River Valley.

Three generations of the Rembe Family have owned and help operate Los Poblanos. Today, the family maintains the preservation plan to sustainably undertake the architecture, cultural center, gardens, and open farmland in perpetuity to create a truly memorable experience for guests.

Join us at this stunning inn to recharge and reconnect as we make memories under the desert moon. Give back to yourself and your loves with yoga, nature experiences, the botanical Hacienda Spa and Spanish inspired fresh farm-to-table eating. There’s a reason Albuquerque's motto is Change Your Perspective

Immersive Lavender Experience

Join Maxfield Bervig, head LP Lavender Farmer, and Jamie Lord, Head Distiller, for a morning immersed in the world of Los Poblanos lavender. Tour the fields, help with the harvest, and witness a live distillation of our favorite botanical. We’ll then be guided in a short workshop to make a lavender memento to infuse our homes with the scent and beauty of lavender, all while enjoying some light lavender refreshments. ($75pp)

Ayurvedic Herb & Cooking Class

Elizabeth Gallery, Chef and certified Ayurvedic practitioner is a longtime collaborator with the Los Poblanos culinary team. Chef Gallery shares the belief that organic, locally sourced, and seasonal ingredients, prepared in a conscious, loving manner produce a dining experience that is as delicious as it is transformative. This approach to food innately takes into consideration the healing, balancing and restorative properties of each ingredient. During this interactive cooking demo and tasting, Chef Gallery will illuminate the principles of Ayurvedic cooking, and show us how to use culinary herbs, fresh vegetables, and invigorating spices to achieve a higher state of well-being. ($115pp)

Horseback Riding

Rachel & Chance Reynolds are born ranchers and have spent more time on horses than they have on the ground. Creating bonds with many horses throughout their lives, their love and connection with the soulful creatures has taught them about trust, communication and partnership with their horse - and life. Today at Red Horse Riding Co the family teaches visitors about that special bond with wilderness rides, trainings, camps and lessons. Join us for a 2 hour horseback ride with Rachel & family to see the New Mexican terrain. ($225 pp)

Additional fees are required for the lavender immersion, horseback riding and cooking class. If you’d like to participate in any, please advise upon booking.
